All students currently enrolled at The University of Western Australia are automatically assigned a basic, web-based email address Student Server. It is important that you use this email address, as it will be used by the University for official correspondence with you, such as HECS information, exam information and Library Notices.

If you are not currently using your central UWA Email account, please go to our Getting Started section.

There are a number of ways that you can check your email account. The most popular method is to use the UWA Webmail system. Students may also access their email using third-party email clients such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird.

Your student account is additional to any access that may be provided by your School or Faculty for course work requirements. For information about departmental services, please contact your local IT Support section, as listed at GetIT pages on the Student Services site.

What username and password do I use?

To use this system, you should use your Pheme student username, and your Pheme password.
